Paloma Lily is a florist and botanical boutique in the beautiful market town of Wilton, 3 miles west of Salisbury. Local & Nationwide Delivery Service
We offer a FREE local delivery service within Wilton. To make this possible 'Olive' our Defender is out once a day and undertakes all deliveries usually between 12-3 Mon-Sat. If you would like a same day local delivery service, please order before 11.
It is expected the recipient will be in to accept the delivery, if they're not we'll try to seek a safe place to leave the items. This may be with a neighbour or undercover somewhere. We carry a supply of containers and water so will ensure flowers are well hydrated. If it's too hot/windy/snowy, the delivery address has no front garden and there are no obliging neighbours, we'll take the delivery back to our shop in Wilton for collection. In all circumstances we'll post a note through the letterbox to let the recipient know.
We also offer a nationwide delivery service to arrive Tue-Fri for a charge of £9.
All deliveries are accompanied with a hand written personal message.
Care Advice and Potting Up Service
We're always happy to give care advice for flowers and houseplants so please feel free to come in and see us or give us a call. Free potting up service is available using standard, cactus or orchid compost.
Top Tips for Flowers
Don't put vases in the dishwasher as salt deposits can kill flowers.
Bleach vases to destroy bacteria.
No need for flower food (as it can also help grow bacteria) just keep the water clean.
Cut stems diagonally to increase the stem surface area so the flowers drink more.
Keep leaves above the water line to avoid them decaying in the water and shortening the life of your flowers..
Keep flowers in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
Replace water and re-cut the stems every other day.
Seasonal workshops are held in our working flower shop on Wilton's historic market square.
Pauline shares trade secrets with small groups using the very best flowers and foliage available.
Classes usually run for around 2 hours with a limitless supply of tea, coffee, cake or pastries.
Workshops are announced on Instagram and Facebook and are bookable online or by calling the shop. Full payment is required to secure the booking.
